Arrival Information

  • Check-In & Checkout Times

Unless we have confirmed other arrangements, check-in is any time after 4 PM, and checkout is by 11 AM.

  • Parking

Parking is free on both sides of the street in front of the Cambridge (the building that is home to the Adler Suite), except during street cleaning times:

—Second Wednesday of each month from 8:30 AM to noon on the building side of the street, and

—Second Thursday of each month from 8:30 AM to noon across the street.

If you park on the street in front of the building during street cleaning times, you will receive a parking ticket.

If you can’t find a free parking space, there are metered spots nearby. Metered parking is free every day between 7 PM & 8 AM, and free all day on Sunday. Outside of those hours, pay via the Park Louie app.

St. Louis Parking Company has a surface parking lot around the corner at 435 N. Euclid Avenue.

  • Transit

The Adler Suite is a delightful 20-minute walk from the Central West End Metrolink station. Metrolink serves Amtrak, Lambert Airport, Busch Stadium, and a number of other St. Louis destinations.

Coming From Lambert Airport: If you have heavy luggage and/or don't want to walk from the Central West End station, you have a couple of cost-effective options:

--Take the 95 Kingshighway bus NORTHBOUND from the Central West End Metrolink station to Kingshighway & McPherson (ask the bus driver to tell you when you are at that intersection). Walk one short block east on McPherson to the Adler Suite.

--Call for an Uber or Lyft to pick you up at the Central West End Metrolink station. The driver will pick you on on Taylor Avenue just west of the station, and have you to the Adler Suite in a few minutes.

Here is a link to Metro St. Louis.

Pro Tip #1: For real-time transit info in St. Louis and more than 100 other cities, download Transit App on your smart phone. Authorize a credit or debit card on your Transit App and you'll be able to buy fares in St. Louis. If you are traveling in on Metrolink from Lambert Airport, you will pay the local fare, not the airport fare.

Pro Tip #2: Another useful resource is the transit feature on Google Maps.

  • Front Door Lockbox Code

The apartment's exact address and lock box code will be emailed to you three days before your arrival (or immediately, if you reserve within the three-day window). If you reserved the apartment on Airbnb, you will receive this information via Airbnb at 8 AM on the day of your arrival.

The Adler Suite shares a lock box with another apartment. Please take ONLY the front door key marked "Adler."

Sorry to "shout." But if someone takes both front door keys out of the box, the other guest(s) - or you - won't be able to get in.

Here is a 35-second YouTube video on how to use the lock box.

  • Keyless Entry for the Adler Suite

The keyless entry code is the last four digits of the phone number associated with the reservation, followed by the check mark.

Watch this 34-second YouTube video on how to unlock the apartment door. The door will automatically lock after 30 seconds. You'll hear a two-toned chime when the door locks.

When you leave the Adler Suite, take your front door key to the Cambridge Apartments with you. You will find a second apartment building front door key for additional guests on the top of the living room bookshelf.

  • Heating & Cooling

The Adler Suite is heated by steam radiators that turn on as needed to keep the whole building at about 70 degrees. If it doesn't feel that warm, call us ASAP.

If you want the Adler Suite to be warmer than about 70 degrees, there’s a space heater in the living room closet.

In hot weather, the Adler Suite is cooled by window unit air conditioners, which are installed mid-spring and removed mid-fall. Adjust the AC temperature on each unit as you see fit.

You are welcome to open windows.

  • Television

Login to any streaming services to which you subscribe like Netflix or Hulu. Logout before you leave. Local stations are available with an antenna attached to the television.

  • Black Facial Cloths

You'll find them in the bathroom. Thank you for using them for makeup or anything that might cause staining.

  • No Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises. Please step outside to the public sidewalk or alley to smoke or vape.

  • What To Do With Our Laundry

No need to strip the bed. Place all used towels and linens in the laundry basket.

  • Trash & Recycling

You'll find bins for trash and recycling on the fire escape. The fire escape door is right around the corner from the Adler Suite.

Be sure to prop open the door so that you don't get locked out. When you come back in, please ensure the fire escape door is securely locked.

Recycling is single-stream for these items: Clean and dry paper, metal, glass and plastic. No plastic bags, please.
