Herman’s Hideaway is a delightfully furnished two-bedroom apartment in the historic Tower Grove East neighborhood of St. Louis. Weekly housekeeping is included.
The apartment is available for a much lower rate, if you are willing to fill out a rental application and pay a fully refundable deposit. Call or email us for more details.
Herman’s Hideaway in on the third floor, and accessible only by stairs. The apartment sleeps up to four. A King-sized bed is in one bedroom, and a Queen-sized bed is in the other. The small kitchen is fully equipped, with everything you need for basic meal preparation. There is high-speed internet access. The living room has a large smart TV. Yes, there is a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. All linens are included.
Before your arrival, Herman’s Hideaway will be stocked with freshly roasted coffee, welcome treats, and light breakfast foods. You will also find a range of cleaning supplies and complimentary toiletries. To keep rates low, we do not replenish these items during your stay.
Parking is easy. There is a 30-minute parking zone for the building right in front of it. No car? No worries! This is one of the city's easiest neighborhoods for walking, biking, and using transit.
In nice weather, enjoy coffee on the fire escape outside the kitchen window or downstairs in the gated courtyard garden. Go for a walk, and be awestruck at the beautifully maintained historic mansions across the street in Compton Heights. You will find eye candy in every direction you choose to walk. Numerous restaurants and magnificent Tower Grove Park are within walking distance.
Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted. Parties, receptions, or gatherings of any number of guests in addition to registered guests are not permitted without the written consent of an authorized representative of SF Shannon.
Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises.
